2 Education Technology “Education Technology is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.” (Januszewski & Molenda, 2008, p. 1) “Any tool that can be used to help promote human learning, including – but not limited to – calculators, tablets, Smart Boards, video cameras, digital cameras, MP3 players, Portable Digital Assistants (PDAs), and, of course, the computer.” (Jeremy Posey, Mathematics Coordinator for the National Math and Science Initiative)
