(Shakespeare 1.1.161-162). -When Romeo is confronted about his actions, he responds that he is “out of love” and that this is the cause for all of his behavior.

DEPRESSION AND ABUSE Teenage relationships can lead to depression and suicide Megan hung herself because she could not handle the hurt of those words that her “boyfriend”, that is supposed to care for her, said to her. 1 in 3 women are said to be involved in abusive relationships

AGGRESSION IN RELATIONSHIPS Aggressive relationships between teenagers is becoming more evident There is different psychological factors that predict the signs of an abusive relationship There is also ways to prevent abuse from happening 20-50% of teens have been in abusive relationships

ABUSE IN RELATIONSHIPS 12% of girls have reported that they have been struck by their partner 26% said they have been verbally abused 18% were threatened after trying to end a relationship 10% of boys have reported being hit by their significant other

ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS Nicky and Richard fell in love at a young age. Nicky soon found out, Richard, was very abusive. After ten years of being together, with three children born prematurely do to the abuse, Nicky decided to leave. Richard would abuse her because of what she would wear to school. He was very controlling.

ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS In order for some teens to deal with their depression and anger they turn to abusive and violent relationships Programs are being created to help stop the abuse and hurt in relationships
