3. Purpose: To learn about patterns by counting by Two’s Five’s and Ten’s To learn about counting in everyday life i.e. money.

4. We see patterns when counting by 2’s! 2,4,6,8,10 10+2= 2,4,6,8,10,? Question: what is the pattern? Answer: We add two to each number So 10+2= 12 10+2= 2,4,6,8,10,? Question: what is the pattern? Answer: We add two to each number So 10+2= 12

5. We see patterns when counting by 5’s 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50 10+5= 5 dots + 5 dots = Question: how many dots are there? (count all dots) Answer: 15 So 5+5= 10 and 10+5= 15! Can you use money to count by fives? Click here!
