11. Differentiation All Millard teachers are trained in providing different levels of instruction to students based on their needs. Compacting opportunities are available at each grade level. Students demonstrate mastery of grade level material and mastered work is replaced with enrichment work. Enrichment work may be taught by the classroom teacher, media or technology specialist, or HAL facilitator.

12. Building Level Programming Willowdale offers several enrichment classes through out the school year. Students are invited to participate by teacher nomination. Enrichment classes are open to all high achieving students and are not limited to students officially qualifying for the HAL program. Enrichment classes replace classroom work. Students participating in enrichment classes have demonstrated mastery of work being taught in the room.
