Did you know that nearly 3 in 10 teen girls in the US will get pregnant at least once before age 20? Less than half of teen mothers ever graduate from high school and fewer than 2% earn a college degree by age 30.
3
Never let a guy try to force you to do anything. You are in control of your own life. If your relationship is already on the rocks don’t think having a baby will make it better.
4
Who is really getting hurt in the situation? The parents or the baby?
5
Ask yourself questions, are you really ready for sex? Have you and your partner talked about it? What happens if your type of birth control fails and you end up pregnant?
6
Birth control can help protect your body but doesn’t protect your feelings. 85% of guys ages 15-18 say they have "more respect for girls who stop themselves if they aren’t ready or comfortable." In a recent survey of guys ages 15-18: › 66% they would rather have a girlfriend and not have sex, 34% would rather sex but no girlfriend.

Myth: Everyone is having sex Truth: Not everyone is doing it. People lie and exaggerate, you never know who is telling the truth. Myth: You’re weird if you wait to have sex. Fact: As long as it’s best for you, it makes you smarter. There’s a right time for everyone and everyone's time is different.
9
Myth: You'll marry the first person you have sex with. Reality: Sadly, this one is rarely true. The reality is that most first time sexual relationships are romantic but short-lived. 8 out of 10 first time teen sexual relationships last 6 months or less and one-quarter are one-time occurrences.
10
Myth: You can't get pregnant if you've never had a period. Reality: You may ovulate 14 days before your first period so it is possible to get pregnant even if you haven't had a period yet.
12
Are you doing it because YOU want to? You are the most important person in this. Have you thought about the consequences? Are you and your partner on the same page? Do you know how to protect yourself?
13
the only 100% guaranteed way to avoid pregnancy is to not have sex. But if you're going to have sex then you need to make sure you use protection carefully, consistently, and correctly EVERY SINGLE TIME.
15
How do you think your parents would react to you telling them you are sexually active? Would the way you think they would react stop you from telling them?
16
How many of you have felt the pressure of having to have sex? How many of you know that your friends and family are sexually active and feel like it’s cool and you should be doing it too?
17
Describe what you think I day of motherhood/fatherhood is like?
