The spiritual care support worker Employee of the Public Sector - unionised (In Quebec, all hospitals are nationalised) Job title description: A person carrying out support activities and guidance to the spiritual and religious lives of patients, their families and loved ones They ensure the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities of a spiritual and religious nature. They conduct home visits to patients and identify their spiritual and religious needs. They respond to dialogues in theological, spiritual or ethical matters, participate in interdisciplinary teams and provide moral support to the families of patients. Must have a degree in theology, pastoral care, religious studies or equivalent discipline. NO TRAINING REQUIRED
