5 The Website Dedicated website: www.germanfilm.co.uk Launched August 2013 Free-to-use multimedia site Film presentations on eighteen different films Presentations have supporting materials (transcript, points for discussion, reading and viewing lists, vocab lists etc.) to support study in and outside the classroom Five thematic discussions (‘German film & unification’; ‘German film & race’ etc.) Meet the Team

10 Moving Ahead: Languages for the Future Creation of two new websites: French Film Learning Initiative and Spanish Film Learning Initiative Build on successes of GFLI and learn from the challenges faced Strong focus on peer-led training and good practise guidance First event in June 2014 – 23 postgraduates from 16 different institutions
