Freshman Four Year Plan Today you will be completing your Freshman Four Year Plan. This information will help guide you through the next 4 years. Please pay attention because this information is very important. You should have: *A pen only *A copy of the Freshman Four Year Plan *Freshman “Bronco” Packet

High School Graduation Requirements Please refer to the bottom portion of the form while we go over the requirements for: High School Graduation California State University (i.e. CSU Fresno) University of California (i.e. UC Los Angeles)

English Indicate if you are in English 9 or English 9 Honors For 10 th grade write in English 10 or English 10 Honors (Honors= Adv/Pro on CST, teacher rec., A or B in H. Eng 9 or A in Eng 9) Add English for 11 th and 12 th (we will discuss options during sophomore counseling)

Math Write in the math class you are in now. Use the chart on the next slide to plan out at least your sophomore and junior years (math placement is based on your grades and teacher rec.)

Science Write in the science class you are in now. Use the chart on the next slide to plan out at least your sophomore and junior years

Social Science Write in your current social science class. (if you took Health/World Geog during summer, cross off and add current class instead ) All students must take the courses listed on the form or their A.P. equivalent. AP= Adv/Pro on CST, recommendation from English teacher, A or B in H. Eng 9 or A in Eng 9

P.E. Everyone needs P.E. Core during 9 th and 10 th grades (even if in band…) P.E. options for 11 th and 12 th grades will be discussed during your Sophomore Conference.

Summer School If you plan on taking summer school this summer please indicate on the form what you plan to take

Health Careers Academy Tentative Pathway Courses for Sophomores English 10 / H. English 10 Chemistry / H. Chemistry Application is required - Due February 14 th to the Counseling Center or Nurse’s office. (Some medical projects/activities will be woven into the pathway courses. )

NCAA Eligibility Know your requirements for Division I and Division II - 16 core courses - Division I: 10 core courses must be completed prior to the seventh semester - Test Scores (SAT/ACT) - GPA (We will discuss more during Sophomore and Junior Conferences)
