. The first working MAG meter was built in 1939 by the Swiss monk Bonaventura Thurlemann in the monastery of Engelberg in Switzerland. History

Beginning of the 1950´s a Swiss company recognized the big advantage of the physical law of Faraday for flow metering and gave a research contract to the famous Batelle Institute in Geneva to develop a flow meter based on this basics. All existing meters on the market are still based on this first construction. In 1962 the first MAG was delivered to a Swiss water authority. History
