5. OBJECT PRONOUNS There are three times when object pronouns are used. 1)When the pronoun is in a prepositional phrase The dog brought the toy to him. 2) When the pronoun is a direct object The falling icicle hit him. 3) When the pronoun is an indirect object Mary wrote him a note.
