Peer Advising on the College Experience (PACE): Peer Mentors assist multicultural students in adjusting academically and socially Peer Mentors provide students with information about services offered through the University of Idaho and encourage students to utilize these services Peer Mentors are models of academic responsibility, community involvement, and multicultural leadership Academic advising to students in academic jeopardy

In a period of ten years, our multicultural student population has consistently grown each year. The Hispanic population has the biggest growth of 128% over this period. Challenges: Loss of AmeriCorps-Due to federal cuts

We are asking for $.16 increase Keep up with increases to the health benefit rates and funding of Changes in Employee Compensation (CEC) estimated at 3% for FY16.

Director: Now- Have in Interim Director—search for this position will be this spring semester- new salary with 3% increase: ▪ CEC: $1,300 from student fees ▪ Health Benefit Rate: ($700 x 30%)= $210 Academic Retention Specialist: Temporary, 9 month full- time position CEC: $16,000 x 3%= $480 Health Benefit Rate: $700 x 75%= $525 Total: $2,515
