Apocalyptic Literature What is it? A highly symbolic style of writing in which hidden truths are revealed within a story. Revelation is often delivered by an angel What is the structure? Wisdom Literature What is it? Collections of wise sayings, proverbs, and short stories that offer insights into the proper way to live. Prayers & songs for worship When was it written? Some Wisdom Themes Book of Job God is beyond human knowledge and that some things will never be understood, including suffering. God does not want us to suffer. God does not cause suffering.
