Attendance Details Compliance with SMART Goal benchmarks: Holding building staff accountable for reporting and monitoring on a regularly scheduled basis via Pulse Alerts and Tyler daily Attendance reporting. Board Policy 1.0 The District exist so that its Students will be fully equipped, ever curious, globally competitive citizens. SMART Goal #4 District’s goal will be to increase the attendance rate to 76.3%. Increase the percent of students who attend school 90% of the time. Pulse indicates 81.7% of our students are attending 90% of the time.

Dropout Recovery Details Dropout data trends In the last 3 months, 1,067 students have been recovered. 262- 9 th -12 th grade remain as dropouts 51.87% reduction compared to 2012-2013 Board Policy 1.0 The District exists so that its Students will be fully equipped, ever curious, globally competitive citizens. SMART Goal #4 No direct goal for this specific area. Objective: reduce student dropouts by monitoring consecutive days of absence prior to the 20-day allowable dropout recovery code for per DESE. Compliance with SMART Goal benchmarks: Student mobility tracked via MOSIS. Student numbers accurately monitoring enrollment “in and out” of the Kansas City Public Schools.
