WHY WAS IT THE SPARK???? 1.Bosnia was under Russian supervision 2.Ferdinand was Archduke of Austria 3.Germany had a treaty with Austria-Hungary to protect them 4.Germany has to declare war on Russia – August 1, 1914 5.Germany has to declare war on France because they were Russia’s ally – August 3, 1914 6.Germany invaded Belgium, so Great Britain declared war on Germany 7.Great Britain declared war on Austria-Hungary because they were Germany’s ally 8.World War I had officially began!!!
