Question of the Day #10 Examine this graph of an object tossed up into the air. Answer the following questions: 1)At what time was the ball thrown and at what initial velocity? 2)At what time did the ball reach its peak and what was the velocity? 3)What is the ball doing when the velocity is negative? Why is it negative? 4)At what time was the ball back to its starting position? Provide two justifications. September 28 Today: -Comp book check -Constant Velocity Lab Homework: -Ch 2 HW 2 Homework 2 Due Friday, Chapter 2 Test on Oct 5

No Question of the Day today September 29 Today: -Constant Velocity Lab – goal: figure out your data, make your graphs, make your poster Tomorrow: Finalize poster Silent Gallery Walk Homework: -Are your graphs done? Is your lab packet done? Can you make a poster in 20min or less tomorrow -Ch 2 HW 2 Homework 2 Due Friday Chapter 2 Test on Monday (No extra writing is allowed on Equation sheets during test)
11
Are you properly using your data? -Read Ch 2-8, 2-2, 2-3. Are you graphing your data properly? Are you finding instantaneous velocity or average velocity? Did you measure displacement or distance? What is the best way to prove/disprove constant velocity? -We want continuous data – do you have that? Or is it discontinuous? -Are you reducing human error in the way you are analyzing your data?
