Hockey is our most national sport since we are more of a winter country than a summer country. In Canada over 570 000 people play Hockey while the rest watch Hockey whenever they can. In the1970’s Charlie Patterson invented the hockey helmet because too many players and goalies were getting injured from players getting shot in the face from a puck.
