Miscellaneous 2013 Submission: Current Unit 1 and 2 tasks, Actors Associates & E-Art, are valid 2014-15 Submission: Unit 1 and 2 tasks based on Tanya’s Travels must be used Resits – Terminal Rule: Candidates must be entered for at least 40% of the qualification e.g. both controlled assessment tasks or GIT3

Technical Issues Folders –Top and bottom candidate MUST be included –Unnecessary files should be removed –Links must be checked to ensure that they are working Disks –1 disk for each unit –CDs preferable –If DVD is used please ensure that files/folders have been successfully burned prior to submission Folder Maker –Currently under review –Schools may be asked to manage folders – AS2 approach –Further guidance will be provided when decision has been reached by CCEA

Task 1 - Parts A, B, C (9 Marks) Part A: Create the Actor and Bookings Tables The field Own Transport in the Actor file should be a logical field showing the data as either “Yes/No” or “True/False” results Key field – ActorID Rename field number in Bookings Table – e.g. End date, Finish date Part B: Create a link between both tables Create an appropriate relationship e.g. enforce referential integrity In Edit Relationships Dialogue box ensure that ‘Cascade Delete Related Records’ is selected (or equivalent) Ensure All Relationships is visible Part C: Data Capture Forms Actor and Booking forms Logo on both forms Created in database software (or can be word processed)

Other options – BETWEEN, logical operators e.g. >=, wildcard
