3. Click on the icon at the bottom of the layers palette.

4. Adding Gradient Choose from those available, eg. Posterise

5. Adding Gradient The effect is added as a new layer which can be turned on and off using the visibility icon.

6. Adding Gradient Try another one, eg. Invert.

7. Adding Gradient Here’s the image showing the one effect - Posterise

8. Adding Gradient Here’s the image showing the other effect - Invert

9. Adding Gradient The effects can be combined by showing both layers.
