Important things to take care on One of the most important things to deal with, is grammar, the way to structure the sentences gives you the route, gives you the knowledge and the idea the way you talk. There are differente important structures to learn very well, if you want to really speak good english. There are different tips that you have to follow, for example you can begin listening to music, but not every kind of music, you have to listen to soft music, like the 70´s or 80´s. Other thing is watching the news, because they don´t swalow the words and the vocabulary and the modulation and the pronunciation is clear as water.

Simple Present Using Verb To Be Verb To Be: it is one of the most important verbs in english, you have to know that in present we have 3 forms to congugate it, they are : am for the first person, Is for the third person in singular (He, she, it) and are for the other pronouns ( you, we, they) Using Do – Does The auxiliary do changes into does in third person in singular ( he, she, it)- This auxiliary verb is used with verbs different of verb To Be. In third person in singular, in affirmative long answers or sentences the verb must have S or ES, it has ES when the verb finishes in x, sh, ch or o, example : Fix – fixes, wash - washes

4. Simple present Vs Present continuous Simple present You use it to talk about daily routines. In 3rd person in singular it must have S or Es according with the selected verb. She, he it, speaks french She, he, it watches television Do: is an auxiliary verb used with the pronouns I, you, we, they. And Does: is an auxiliary verb used with the 3rd person in singular, he, she, it. Present Continuous The action is happening now The actions are temporary. There are two important characteristics to know when it is present continuous or Progressive: 1. The sentence must have Verb To Be 2. The following verb must have Ing. Examples: Maria is working at the school

Past simple With Verb To Be The verb in past are Was for all the singular pronouns ( I, he, she, it) And Are for those pronouns that make reference to a plural ( we, you, they) With Auxiliary DID It is used with all the pronouns, but you have to take care with the affirmative sentences, because the verb goes in PAST, but in interrogative and negative sentences, the verb goes in INFINITIVE.

6. Examples Example I was a teacher My mother was in Miami last month. The children were in the park My parents were in europe. NOTE: In english the negation is made with the auxiliary verb. The girl sang a beautiful song in the concert. Affirmative sentence. Did the girl sing a beautiful song in the concert? Interrogative Yes, she sang a beautiful song in the concert Affirmative No, the girl didn´t sing a beautiful song in the concert

7. VERBS Regular verbs. The regular verbs are those that have ed at the end. Examples: Play – played Study - Studied Dance - danced Irregular verbs The irregular verbs may or not change its form from the base or the infinitive form. Examples Buy – bought Drink – drank Cost - cost
