2. We have 27 farmers performed irrigation on the first season from those 9 are control groups,9 are TDR group and the remaining 9 are WFD and collect their own data based on the require and compiling in excel. For TDR group recommend to be applied the amount of water to be applied as follow. I have FC,TDR reading so depth of deficit= (FC-TDR reading)*effective root depth. TDR Volume of water to be applied net=deficit*area of plot. The list below shows some of the data have been collected from the first irrigation season. Gross volume of water to be applied =net volume of water/irrigation efficiency

3.  Measured of soil moisture by using TDR three times a weak  Measured of soil moisture by using SMPR one times a weak  Collect agronomic data i.e. measuring plant height at 4 different stage i.e. first stage, crop development stage, mid-stage and maturity stage.  9 Farmers are harvested onion in the last weak and three of them are in this weak.  Onion Yields are measured for harvested farmers and the yield are shown below.

5.  Collect soil sample by digging 0-60 cm depth at five place and mix them and take 500gm up to 1000gms after harvest for some farmers to know chemical part i.e. CEC, OM, TN, Av.P, Av.K and Fe and already the soil is enter in to AMHARA DESIGN AND SUPERVISION ENTERPRAIZE.  Collect onion sample from this weak harvested to simulate NPK and moisture for three farmers i.e 1.Emebete mulu from WFD group 2.Adam Tsehay from control group 3. Wenidyifraw Taye from WFD the remaining farmers to be collect when they are harvest.

6. From 32 farmers 13 are voluntary to continue for irrigation of Pepper and they already transplated Pepper. The experimental lay outs are shown below. 5 control group farmer selection 14 farmer 5 TDR group 4 WFD group
