2 Agenda 1.Approve Minutes of the 14 August meeting (docdb-65) 2.Resignation of Jim Strait from the executive committee and nominations for a replacement. 3.Application from Guanajuato 4.Governance amendments A.Ability to appoint a vice-chair of the IB B.Ability to approve new collaborating institutions/collaborators at phone IB meetings 5.2016 meeting dates 6.Election for replacement on executive committee 7.Finance Committee/RRB (Jung) 8.Discussion of publication policies for technical papers: proposal - each technical working group should develop and inform the IB of their policies for technical publications. 9.Reports from collaboration management and project management. 10.Appointments if any 11.Discussion of whether IB phone meetings should rotate timeframe to accommodate different timezones. 12.Any other business

4 RRB/Finance Board Heard a report from the Resources coordinator on the first RRB meeting and the plans for the Finance Board Docdb-312

5 Other business Elected Joshua Klein (Penn.) to the executive committee Passed two amendments to the governance document: – Allowing for a vice-chair of the IB – Allow consideration of a DUNE application at phone meeting Approved policy for technical publications – Each technical group will write own policy for publications (35 ton policy is in docdb-309) Approved appointment of Lisa Whitehead (Houston) as IB vice-chair

10 The 3 rd DUNE Collaboration Meeting Date: 12 – 15 January, 2016 – Average high: 14 o C (58 o F) =~2*T Chicago Venue: Univ. of Texas at Arlington Campus Nearest Airport: Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport ( DFW ) – UTA is only 20min from DFW – Plenty of direct flights from all over the world! Registration fee will be of the order $200 - $250 – Will cover lunches, coffee breaks, banquet and other costs Details will be on the meeting web site shortly
