Sandal and Lace up Shoes Years 9-12 & Year 13 Girls Year 9-13 Boys

Which shoes can I wear? Before you spend money on shoes, make sure you know what IS and IS NOT acceptable. It is advisable that shoes are sturdy enough to last through the winter months.

Sandals Y9-12 Girls and Boys

Girls’ shoe requirements Black or brown Roman leather sandals. No socks or stockings to be worn with sandals. Plain black, leather lace-up shoe with a defined low heel. These can be worn with stockings or white ankle socks. Patent leather, suede, sports, ballet-style shoes and boots are NOT ALLOWED. No buckles, bows, chains or other decorations are permitted. Year 13 students ONLY are permitted to wear plain black leather lace- up or loafer-style low-heeled shoes. No buckles, bows, chains or other decorations are permitted. Mount Albert Grammar school has a very strict uniform policy and this has been stated, check our school website. Any variation, the student or caregiver must see the year-level deputy principal before purchase of the shoes or before they are worn at school. These uniform requirements are also clearly stated to all students in assemblies, notices and reinforced by staff.

Girls shoes Yr 13 Summer-style sandal Winter-style loafers N.B You can use Roman sandals or black leather lace-up shoes as per Y9-12 shoe requirements.

Boys shoe requirements Black or brown Roman leather sandals. Sandals are not to be worn with long trousers. Plain black, leather lace-up shoe OR dress-style shoes, with a defined low heel. Patent leather, suede, sports, ballet-style shoes, slip-on loafers and boots are NOT ALLOWED. NO buckles, bows, chains or other decorations permitted. Mount Albert Grammar school has a very strict uniform policy and this has been stated clearly.
