9. Defining and Designing Rules Developing and posting school or classroom rules alone does not guarantee appropriate behavior. Staff need to: Develop the rules/expectations/procedures Post around the school Teach and re-teach rules directly Provide frequent and positive feedback Provide ongoing monitoring and supervision
