4 Affinity Groups Mission Increase opportunities for members with common technical or professional interests to meet, acquire knowledge and network by leveraging online communication tools

5 Mission To promote and support excellence in graduate education for mechanical engineering students. We identify the needs, ascertain challenges and provide service to the mechanical engineering graduate students. Vision Provide a sense of community by linking every professional and graduate students to ASME Technical Divisions, Industry and Universities.

6 Objective The GSAG aims to become one stop shop within ASME for all the current and prospective mechanical engineering graduate students by bonding them with graduate programs/faculty, encourage excellence in research/scholarly work, assist them throughout the graduate curriculum, and help them leverage their skills/credentials when they join the workforce.

9 New Initiatives, Programs & Services ASME GSAG News Letter ME Future Video Series Career Counseling Seminars Recent Activity Date: 21-Feb-2013 Venue: DHA Suffa University, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Topic: Career Counselling Seminar Outcomes:The outcome was terrific more than 40 students have attended the session, including the faculty members and faculty head of Mechanical Engineering Dr.Johar Farooqi.
