4. Why study a BTEC? BTECS are practical. You will learn skills which you can use in employment. BTECs have a high percentage of coursework (75%) and a small percentage of exams (25%) BTEC’s are viewed as the equivalent of GCSE’s by employers If you pass the level 2 qualification you are guaranteed a C equivalent.
