1. Recommendations to John wolf on better ways of restructuring the purchasing process for the Wolf motors dealership network. John Wolf needs to find at least one mentor who has been in the same position and learn from him. It should be a time for John Wolf to stop dealing with disturbing customers both suppliers whose products yield less profit and customers who keep on nagging for lower prices. John wolf should learn to delegate tasks which will go a long way in pumping in new ideas and renovations in handling the fast growing nature of his business. He needs to be proactive by studying and comprehending the outcome of a business venture before getting into it. John Wolf should consider hiring virtual workers to save on workspace which will in turn save him much of the business operating cost in terms of buying necessary staff equipment.

2.How purchasing policies and procedures will differ when the dealerships purchases different types of service parts and materials (e.g., lubricants versus genuine GM parts). According to “Green Plus” (n.d.), the purchase of different service parts and materials will “Reduce purchasing and transportation costs Create and promote a green image Reduce generic waste and hazardous waste Forge relationships with other local businesses Bolster the local economy”

3.How supply-chain management concept will help John wolf reduce investment and space requirements while maintaining adequate service levels. Having a close personal relationship with his suppliers will help him understand his suppliers work and how it can benefit his dealership financially for example he may be able to obtain supplies on credit. It ensures that the supplies are made available when they are needed the most this is made possible by contacting the supplies to inform them whenever the service parts are needed. This go along way in reducing the space requirements. This will also ensure that suppliers place their orders on time by being clear on set deadlines (“Manage Your Supplies”, n.d.).
