23 Cabling vs Faraday cage & envelope definition of chambers Along z (chamber thickness) CERN chamber have 73.2mm < 75 mm ( 74 mm) INFN have 70 mm ( more clearance/cabling space) PNPI < 75 mm ( definition in progress) Along x (chamber length) not important Along y (chamber height) remaining space is enough for cables and balconies: the most critical region is in M2R3 were 74 cables (6÷10 mm Ø) must stay on 84 cm 2 (without considering the 10-14 mm between walls and chamber)
