2 Overview Tools used for analyzing website usage. Track users on an aggregate scale (not individual). Do not affect layout/design of webpages. Easy to install and setup (javascript snippets). Can only track where you have your javascript (few exceptions).

3 Google Analytics Especially good for tracking large scale data (long periods of time, lots of users); can scale down reasonably well Tracks movement through a website; tracks referrals Lots of content, lots of options Often undergoing revisions
