The design of a product, environment, or service that is flexible and meets the needs of a wide range of users can eliminate or minimize the need for specific accommodations for a person with a disability. Universal Design!! A mismatch between the individual with a disability and product, the environment, attitudes, or society can create or exacerbate barriers.

14 Student’s Registration Process Apply to UCO Once accepted, enroll in courses Meet with DS Provider (initial intake) Accommodation Letters issued to student Services are established (i.e. interpreters/CART & alternative textbooks) Students deliver ACC LTR to professor and discuss and make arrangements for accommodations
