FACULTY COLLABORTION TEACHING MULTI-UNIVERSITY –TEACHING AT CARIBBEAN SCHOOLS FOR ONE SEMESTER –1990’s - one Canadian faculty member spent one semester teaching (therapeutics, pharmacokinetics, etc,)

FACULTY COLLABORTION TEACHING –TORONTO/SASK EXCHANGE WITH FOUR SCHOOLS IN UKRAINE - feature “patient oriented curriculum development” Deans of 4 Colleges of Pharmacy in Ukraine spent three weeks in Toronto & Saskatoon Two Canadian Deans plus two Canadian clinical practitioners gave lectures on implementing pharmaceutical care at the four Colleges in the Ukraine ( 2 weeks)

FACULTY COLLABORATION TEACHING Universite de Montreal –Pharmacists without Borders Missions (Dianne Lamarre - France, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro –-Teaching responsibilities at French schools, particularly related to pharmaceutical care (Claude Mailhot)

FACULTY COLLABORTION Research University of Alberta –part of agreement with Japanese Schools provides for exchange of graduate students University of Toronto –graduate students have spent time with faculty in Toronto during their programs –undergraduate students from Netherlands, Sweden do research projects

FUTURE CANADIAN COLLABORATION There is a great interest in each of the nine faculties of pharmacy in Canada to pursue new options for international collaboration with pharmacy schools in the Americas
