Harassment: verbal or physical conduct that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward an individual because of his or her membership in a protected class for the purpose, or effect of creating, an intimidating, hostile, humiliating, or offensive working environment. Protected classes: race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or disability. To be hostile environment the conduct must unreasonably interfere with an individual's work performance, or Adversely affect an individual’s employment opportunities and; Be severe and pervasive.
