4 Lead from the front Texas Nodal http://nodal.ercot.com 4 Resource Asset Registration Form Resource Asset Registration Form (RARF) update: –Last week Resource Entities with Generation Resources were emailed the: Zonal GARF Pre-populated RARF –Purpose of the RARF First RARF data set released to support EDS3 activities Resource Entities to provide limited set of Resource asset data No signature required Can be submitted via TML Service Request (directions in form) –Return to ERCOT by 9/4/2007 –Load Resources not needed for this round of RARF Will be part of next iteration later in year (estimate late-October) to support Network Modeling and forthcoming EDS4

5 Lead from the front Texas Nodal http://nodal.ercot.com 5 Resource Asset Registration Form (continued) –Common questions on RARF High/Low Reasonability Limits –What are these? »Nodal field per protocol 3.7.1- An "Out-of-Bounds" value chosen by RE and used by ERCOT to alarm/reject data exceeding the value. »This value validate data submitted to ERCOT »Examples- alarms ICCP, rejects COP, etc. For private network, what are the High/Low Reasonability Limits –Limit would simply be the Highest and Lowest amount of power that could be injected into ERCOT from that unit (depends on unit capabilities and swing of the industrial load behind the fence).
