9 SUBJECT MATTER  By his paintings he was hoping to make people happy  He also wanted people to experience how he felt about Christ in their own ways through his artwork  The fact that he is such a “devout Christian” is why he tries to make his paintings so happy and make people feel good

10 CONNECTIONS  One main connection between Thomas Kinkade and my artwork is the fact that they are both happy  His art wasn’t ever dark and depressing  My art is neither dark nor depressing either
