Based on entry, withdrawals do not count as a fail. Size of qualification impacts. New points score applicable (210 – C – 30) At provider level same rules of allocation and size of qualifications. 15. Same type of VA calculation as other ‘progress measures’. Prior attainment is English and maths only. Students progress (e.g. 0,1,2) will be matched against national average progress of students with same prior attainment in English and/or maths. Headline Measures: PROGRESS IN ENGLISH AND MATHS

16. A cap will be applied (no more than one grade down) Different rates of expected progress determined by KS4 GCSE grade achieved (e.g. F grade = 1.25 grades, D grade = 0.75 grades) Headline Measures: PROGRESS IN ENGLISH AND MATHS
