2. Background Info  I come from a small town in west Tennessee called Covington. Covington was founded in 1826. The population of Covington is just under 10,000 people, and is more of a rural farming community. Covington is located in Tipton County, which is also the birthplace of Isaac Hayes.

4. Jobs you have previously had  Brighton Sports Commission: I kept the books for basketball games during the week and on the weekends.  I also cut the grass and keep the yard in good condition at my house.

5. Greatest Impact My dad has had the greatest impact on my life. He has set an example of hard work and good ethics in my life. He has supported me through everything I have done whether it be sports, school, or church.

6. My Spare time In my spare time I enjoy playing sports. Baseball has always been my favorite sport, but I like almost any sport out there. I can spend hours playing basketball with my friends. I already spend most of my time doing stuff with the high school baseball team.

7. Achievements  National Junior Honor Society  5 th Grade Spelling Bee Champion  Accepted into Mississippi State University and University of Tennessee.  Best Athlete at Camp Clements Leadership Camp  District Runner Up

8. Skills  Lawncare: Cutting grass for Smith & Son Lawncare. Managed the 11 acre lawn. Managed and operated lawn care equipment and tools. Profound knowledge of recreational athletic field maintenance.

9. Goals  In 5 years I want to be out of college and have my career started.  My goal right now is to raise my ACT score up two points to a 26 to get out-of-state tuition waived at Mississippi State.  My goal academically is to graduate high school and maintain a 3.5 GPA in college.

10. Working Summary  Strengths: My biggest strength is a good work ethic. I work hard at everything I do. My second strength would have to be my ability to speak in front of large crowds.  Weaknesses:  Work Style: I am very well organized and I complete tasks in a timely manner. I am considered very reliable by my peers.  Experience: Agriculture- Hauling hay and helping my great uncle maintain his farm. Athletically- Ran the clock and the managed the scorebook for Brighton Sports Commission.

11. What do you know about…?  Mississippi State University: Mississippi State University is located in Starkville, Mississippi. Mississippi State was established in 1878. Mississippi State’s motto is “ Learning, Service, Research.” There is over 20,000 students enrolled at Mississippi State.

12. What attracted you to Mississippi State?  I was attracted to Mississippi State because of its small town environment and friendly faculty and staff. Since I am a big sports person, the high quality athletics at Mississippi State served a big part in me being attracted to this university.

13. How will you be an asset to Mississippi State?  I will bring hard work and excellent leadership to Mississippi State along with good grades.

14. What can you do for Mississippi State that others cannot?  I will bring a good sense of school spirit that others cannot. I will also be involved in many extra curricular school activities.
