iMedia students undertook training delivered by the Additional Support staff from The Sheffield College. This included in-depth awareness on the autism spectrum: Social communication Verbal, non verbal, interpretation Social interaction Unwritten rules of social communication, relationship building Social imagination Planning ahead, change Asperger Syndrome Disability Awareness Training

Research paper will focus on: How technology can mediate and enhance new relationships between distinct cohorts of students Opportunities for social learning How the design and materiality of the iPad can affect the nature of relationships within and beyond the classroom How a range of applications can be used to perform social networking Research – University of Sheffield, Dr Julia Davies
