2 Plural Nouns There are special rules for forming the plurals of some nouns. For a noun ending in a vowel + o, add s. For a noun ending in a consonant + o, add s or es.

3 Plural Nouns For all musical terms ending in o, add s. For some nouns ending in f or fe, change the f to v and add es. Some plural nouns have a special form that does not end in s.

4 Plural Nouns Some nouns do not change form at all when they are made plural.

5 Guided Practice 1. Three deer ran across the field. Three deers ran across the field.
