Democratic Party
The U.S. Democratic Party is one of two big political parties in the United States. Supporters of this party are known as Democrats.

11. The Libertarian Party was formed in Westminster, Colorado, in the home of David Nolan on December 11, 1971. The formation was prompted in part by theVietnam War, conscription, and the end of the Gold Standardo.  The first Libertarian National Convention was held in June, 1972
