PeelCompton.org The Peel Mansion The modern history of the Peel Mansion and Heritage Gardens began on December 2, 1991 when Wal-Mart bought the house and gave it to the Peel House Foundation for its preservation and eventual restoration

PeelCompton.org After three years of fundraising to restore the mansion to its previous glory, the house was opened to the pubic in May, 1994.
