Remember: Domain : Set of all x-values Range: Set of all y-values

Intercepts x-intercept – the point(s) at which the graph crosses the x-axis y-intercept – the point(s) at which the graph crosses the y-axis

Intercepts Find the x and y-intercepts: x-intercepts – (-5,0),(-2,0),(3,0),(7,0) y-intercept – (0,4)

Domain (x-values)Increasing/Decreasing/Constant

Extrema: Maximums/Minimums Relative Maximum: Points with the highest y-value in that area. (Follows an Increase) Maximums are (-3,2) and (2,1) Relative Minimum: Points with the lowest y-value in that area. (Follows a Decrease) Minimums are (-1,-3) and (4,-1)

End Behavior End behavior describes what's going on at each end of the graph… As x increases (or approaches infinity) the y also increases… As x decreases (or approaches negative infinity) the y decreases…
