2. Unit Summary In this subject, the second year high school students will learn all about basic electricity and electronics which includes electron theory, sources of energy, and kinds of circuit, voltage, current, resistance, electrical conductors and resistors.

3. Student Objectives/ Learning Outcomes Explain the electron theory. Determine the sources of electricity. Differentiate the two kinds of circuit. Describe the relationship of voltage, electricity and resistance.

4. Solve problems regarding resistance, electricity and voltage using the series and parallel connections. Identify the electrical conductors and insulators.
