Puerto Rican Zuccottos By: Riley, Rachel, Claire, Jessie and Sierra

History The history on how many Puerto Rican food stars with the Taínos Indians. We would trade with them to get food and recipes. We still today use many food like yuca, pepper, an corn. The Taínos invented paint by mashing together certain foods. Spaniards bought many new ingredients like garlic, olives, and cilantro.

Zuccottos Zuccotto is an Italian dessert with origins in Florence. The shape is made to look like the cathedrals in Italy. Zuccotto is a semi-frozen, chilled dessert made with brandy, cake and ice cream. It can be frozen, then thawed before serving.
