Preamble The great king gives his name and the titles of his office. Historical Prologue The GK states the historical basis for the treaty with emphasis on his acts of benevolence. Stipulations The conditions imposed by the GK.

Covenant Preservation and Proclamation of the Covenant Copies of the treaty were preserved and read publicly. Witnesses to the Treaty Gods of both countries were invoked as witnesses.

The Commandments No other gods. Make no images to worship them Do not take the Name of the L ORD in vain. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy Honor your father and mother.
