Car Dependency issue in Egypt Difference between developed and developing countries context High share of motorised transport Congested roads, short trip distances and restricted expansion Widening existing streets exacerbates the problem!

Research Aim Investigating the challenges and barriers of reducing the car dependency culture in Egypt. It will also identify the different policy options for overcoming these barriers through the case study to examine the situation empirically
