Florida What do you think of when you hear of the state of Florida? One of the most visited states….

Florida is the sunshine state Sunny almost every day of the year. The most visited state of all.

Climate Usually 70-80 degrees during the winter months. Cooler in January and February, in the 30’s at night.

Hurricane Season May to the end of November is *rain and hurricane season*. Hurricanes are more prevalent from August to October in Florida.

Orlando What can you think of as far as attractions in the Orlando area is concerned?

Orlando and Disneyworld is the most visited area. Disneyworld has grown to 4 parks and numerous hotels and services.

Near By Attractions Kennedy Space Center Tampa and Busch Gardens Mid-Atlantic Coast

The South also has a wealth of U.S. history and celebration.

Climate Generally temperate. Summers along the Gulf Coast such as Louisiana can be very hot and humid.

Winters are not very harsh and mostly chilly. Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia experience snowfall.

Climate The Midwest can be hot and humid in the summer. Winters can get quite cold and snowy. Spring is rainy and usually chilly. Fall can be beautiful with colorful leaves.
