El Desayuno (España) Time: 7:00 – 9:00 am Foods: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bread & jelly, muffin, fruit, cereal, yogurt Important Facts: this is a light meal

El Almuerzo (México only) Time: 11:00 am – 12 noon Foods: huevos rancheros, beans, fruit, tortillas, enchiladas, a meat dish Important Facts: this is a heavy breakfast or what we would call brunch.

La Comida (España) Time: 2:00-4:00 pm Foods: salad, soup, vegetables, meat or fish, paella, tortilla española, dessert, coffee Important Facts: Multi-course meals, biggest meal of the day, typically eaten with entire family
