2. 20 10 Summary - Report The BCCT Management Development Group was established for the first time in 2010. The group's mission was to present a series of training classes, events and workshops to support the Management Development needs of BCCT member companies. Key objectives of the group have been to provide management development for member company employees, particularly the SME's who would benefit from participation in programmes where they can join as opposed to run directly themselves. The focus of the training programmes has been on "soft skills" development based upon an established list of core competencies, such as Time Management, Change Management and Planning & Goal Setting. The Group also offers a range of panel or keynote speaker presentations on various topics related to management development.

3. 20 10 Summary - Report Training classes have been separated into two-tiers: English Classes For senior and middle management with a series of half-day workshops. Training is carried out by Training Companies which are Chamber members such APM and Crestcom Class sizes are up to 24 participants and held in a hotel location. Price - Baht 3750 nett for a half-day workshop. Thai Classes For middle management classes Classes have been generously supported by the training departments of large multi-national Chamber member companies such as Standard Chartered Bank. Price - Baht 2000 nett for a half-day workshop.

5. 2011 - Plan – English Classes – to conduct five workshops (Feb, May, July, Sept, Nov) To source a larger number of Training Companies To develop a sponsorship package for training classes to lower costs and reduce pressure on minimum attendance down to 15 pax. Minimum attendance required – 20 pax @ Baht 3750 nett per half day workshop – Thai Classes – to conduct one every month (except April & Dec) To introduce new multi-national training partners such as HSBC, PCS and Tesco To introduce full-day workshops as well as half day Minimum attendance required – 15 pax @ Baht 2000/2500 nett per half day workshop or Baht 2900 nett for a full-day workshop
