Final Project Suggestion: Set up a time line – Example ONLY! Create your own timelines Page 1 and 2 - Tuesday of Unit 7 Page 3, 4, and 5 – Tuesday of unit 8 Submit for Review to Writing Center- Wednesday of Unit 9 Final cleanup and submit project Tuesday of Unit 9 Must submit by Tuesday of Unit 9 – Significant number of points for Final Project (145) – My class - No late projects accepted.

Use Resources Wisely Writing Center – Paper review!!! Humans review so must give plenty of time for review Does not (and cannot) grade the paper. Shares writing expertise only. – Tutoring Review your instructor posts/announcements – My Class Writing coach May share concept with instructor by end of week 8.

Avoid Invalid Topics Check with your instructor – My class If concept was not taught in the class, it is not valid. If not applicable to your profession, it is not valid. – Remember you describe your profession on page 2 Chef example will not be allowed. – It has already been done! If you choose Order of operations, it must be the mathematical order of operations. – Describing how an engine is built is an order of operations, but it is not mathematical (PEMDAS). That would be an invalid topic.
