1 Golf Course PBL By: Student A

2 Our Plans In this lesson, students will investigate different uses for the land plot currently being used as a golf course. They will apply proportional reasoning to create scale models or drawings of the land and how they feel it should be used to best meet the needs of the community. They will need to justify their opinion with research and present it to the class. This lesson will increase students’ awareness of land use in the local community while developing stronger number sense and proportional reasoning skills.

3 Creating Charts of Items I decided to put Recreational Center, Soccer Stadium, Animal Wildlife Preserve, Miniature Golf area, roller coaster and mini malls. I also decided to add parking lots, few park benches, congos and skate parks and the slides.
