3 How long will it take? If you are not going to the fun fair it will take 50mins if you are then it will take 1 hour HOME

4 Lemurs live in Madagascar on the coast of Africa. They weigh up to 8 to 10kgs, they live in forests, their length is 12 to 15cms! Ring-tailed lemurs have grey coats and white under parts. They also have a black stripe coming from each eye. They move with ease across the trees and branches and are capable of leaping survival meters. Unlike other lemurs, the ring- tailed lemur will also travel across the ground! Home

5 Lions can run up to 30 miles per hour! Adults eat 5 to 7kgs of meat a day. Their weigh is 190 to 240kgs, and they live up to 15+ years ! Lions live in the savannah, and are sometimes found in woodlands. Home

6 Gazelles are fawn coloured, with white tummies and they have white patches around both eyes. They also have a black stripe coming from each eye. They live in savannahs, grasslands and usually live in herds of up to 30! Gazelles feed on grass and leaves, they live up to 10 to 12 years. They weigh up to 45 to 65kgs! Home

7 A giraffe Has a very long neck, they have a sloping body, which is unmistakable. They have the same number as bones in their neck as a human does. Giraffes are too tall to eat plants from the ground, so they have to eat leaves growing at the level of their head or above. This is known as browsing. Adult giraffes eat fresh leaves growing in the tops of trees. The young giraffe has no difficulties finding food since there are trees dotted all around the plains. Home

8 Elephant During its first two years a calf will drink about 28 litres of its mothers milk a day. It can gain up to 20kgs a month a month in weight! When they have mated, the Bull leaves. In hot, dry weather, the elephants skin feels itchy and uncomfortable. Fly's buzz around annoyingly. The herd moves across the plain to the waterhole. The waterhole wade out into the deeper water, splashing excitingly and throwing mounds of rich mud over their backs! Home

9 zebra Zebras can run up to 40 miles per hour. They have a vicious kick when they are in danger. They live in the open plains, grasslands and mountains and are highly sociable animals, usually living in herds of 100+.Zebras are members of the equidae family which also includes horses and asses. They live up to 20 to 25 years and they weigh 250 to 450kgs. Their height is 1.2 to 1.5 meters! Home
